3/7/2023 0 Comments How to save bios settings asus![]() Over clocked to 4.2 gh change multiplier to +125 Change ram to XMP then save bios and reboot everything is fine in windows Then go back into bios and set everything back to stock settings and save then reboot go back into bios only to see that the cpu has changed to 3.8 gh on it's own and that auto has changed back to manual so I change it to auto again and reboot back into the bios and now the multiplier has changed back to +125 but the cpu is back to auto I can replicate this every time so it wasnt just a "ONE TIME" glitch So it seems that the X99 bios (When over clocking) need to be saved several times in order for the "AUTO" changes to take affectĪny one else seeing this issue ? Anyone shed some light on something i'm doing wrong? Recently I bought my first X99 Micro 2 mb and 5820K cpu (I Love It) I updated the Bios to the latest and have been very happy But one thing I have noticed while playing around with settings and overclocking After I am done experimenting with over clocking in the bios and playing games on windows 10 I then put everything back to stock settings and reboot into windows only to find out that my bios settings didn't take So I go back into the bios and sure enough some of the settings are still enabled Example:
